1.5mm (1/16") Birch Ply

Description

High quality 1.5mm Flexible Birch Plywood sheet produced in Finland which is suitable for a wide range of applications and laser cutting.

This is BR grade Birch Plywood. This is similar to B grade material, with knots that should not be greater than 8mm in diameter. These thinner plywood’s have a slightly higher quality feel. The surface of the material is sanded to a smoother finish than that of most plywoods.

This plywood uses a Phenol glue EN314-2 Class 3 glue which is an exterior grade Ply. Exterior ply will cut with a laser but will leave a burnt edge, this can be removed by sanding.

This material is PEFC certified.

The manufacturing tolerance for the thickness of plywood sheets are the stated thickness +/-10%. This means a 1.5mm plywood sheet could be between 1.35mm and 1.65mm in thickness.
