Messerschmitt Taifun BF108

Description

At close to 1/4 scale, the Robin Woodhead design of the Bf108 Taifun is a near scale model of the mid 1934/5 sports, touring and communication aircraft which was designed and developed to meet the emerging needs of the Luftwaffe. It became the forerunner of the Me109 fighter aircraft.

The model has been designed to be powered by a 33cc to 50cc petrol engine. Kit contains – laser & CNC cut parts along with additional wood to complete the model. All accessories included except for the wheels, retracts & fuel tank. Fiberglass cowl, complete vac form set, laser cut control panel with dials and fitting instructions A 4 part full size plan.

This is not a beginner’s plane Although the Bf108 Taifun is relatively easy to build and fly, it is a model of an advanced high performance communications aeroplane and has similar flying characteristics. Just as a WW2 pilot would have extensive instruction in trainer aeroplanes before graduating to the Bf108 Taifun, we recommend your able to handle a low wing scale model before you fly our version.
